MVH OFFERS PATIENTS ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION OPTION Haverhill, MA—Merrimack Valley Hospital is now offering ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION for patients. This includes such services as cardiology, inpatient and outpatient surgery, endoscopy, laboratory, MRI, CAT scan and other diagnostic imaging services. “Merrimack Valley Hospital’s online patient pre-registration process is a handy, time-saving option that allows patients to pre-register at their convenience,” said Michael Collins, hospital CEO. “Although patients will need to visit the registration area when they arrive at the hospital for services, our new online tool will greatly reduce wait times there.” Before beginning the pre-registration process, patients will need: · Insurance ID card information · Procedure date and time · Type of procedure (such as a mammogram or X-ray) · Personal contact information · Physician order Once the patient starts the pre-registration process, the browser will indicate a secure page by displaying a locked padlock icon somewhere in the browser window. “Patients can proceed with the knowledge that the information they provide is kept in strict confidence,” said Collins. After submitting the online pre-registration form, patients will be able to print out a confirmation page to bring with them the day of their procedure, along with any other needed items listed on the pre-registration form. To access the new online registration tool, visit www.merrimackvalleyhospital.com and click on the “online pre-registration” button at the top of the page. # # #
