Receiving treatment at the Pain Management Center at Merrimack Valley Hospital can help you reduce and cope with chronic pain so that your life is more active, productive and enjoyable.

Your First Visit
The Pain Management Center at MVH accepts patients by physician referral. Once referred, you will receive a phone call to pre-register you for care. On the day of your appointment, go directly to the Pain Management Center. It is located on the 3rd floor (east wing) of the hospital. During your first appointment, a physician will talk with you about the pain you are experiencing and give you a pain-focused physical examination with a nurse present. The physician and other members of the center's team will develop a treatment plan and discuss it with you. If necessary, appointments for follow-up treatments or care will be booked during your visit.
